The follow events and courses being held at Bentley Copse
Training is available for those wishing to lead crossbow sessions. The weekend includes both training and assessment.
This day course will provide training and assessment for climbing instructors wishing to complete PPE user checks.
Delivered and assessed by members of the Surrey Scouts and Bentley Copse teams, this course may be used to contribute to the skills required by a competent person as defined by HSE. Please speak us if you wish to operate as a competent person as the skills, knowledge and experience you might require may not be fully deliverable by a one day course.
With fencing, a movie night, silent disco, climbing, abseiling, crossbows, radio controlled cars, caving maze, zip line, night line, social tree climbing, laser clay pigeon shooting, tomahawks and cherry picker rides we expect this to be the biggest and best Frost Camp ever!
Once you have attended a weekend scout climbing permit training course you may wish to consolidate your skills before assessment. We can offer you opportunities to attend and ‘shadow’ an instructor running sessions.
An action packed overnight camp and lots of activities for Beavers.
Join us in 2026 for a brand new Bentley Copse event. Can your squirrel drey complete the challenges?
Can they climb the rigging and raise the jolly roger for the Pirate Lord? Will they collect any clues to the whereabouts of the lost treasure?
Will they scale the rock face and collect the next clue?
Can they grab the next clue while zipping down the escape line through the trees?
Back in 2026, our action packed weekend of activities for cubs. Bring your cubs, your tents, your camp kitchen and your willingness to let the chaos flow!
